Hey Red Hawk Families! We are nearing the start of the fall 2025 semester on Friday, August 29. Please be aware that although the semester starts on a Friday, it will follow a Monday class schedule. What does this mean? Your student will attend the classes they normally will have on Mondays instead of their Friday classes.

• Satisfy Your Bill: Pay your bill, sign up for a payment plan or satisfy your balance with your financial aid to avoid any late fees.
• Review Your Class Schedule: Check NEST to view your most updated class schedule. Click on the Quicklink "Class Schedule" to see when and where your classes will be held this fall.
• Waive or Accept the University Health Insurance Plan: Have your own health insurance? Waive it by the deadline of Monday, September 15 to avoid the extra charge. This has to be done every year for full-time students. 
• Review Parking Permit Options: If you want to park your car on campus, make sure you follow all parking regulations and purchase a permit so you don't get hit with a ticket! Permits are good for both the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses! Daily parking and public transportation is also available at a discounted rate. Learn more about parking.
• Learn about Free Shuttles: Get familiar with our free shuttles and download the TripShot app. Did you know: There is a free shuttle connecting the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses!
